Go tramping (or hiking as it is called here in New Zealand) in any of the three national parks (the Abel Tasman, Kahurangi or Nelson Lakes) or the Richmond Ranges Forest Park. Whether you want to enjoy a gentle stroll or take on a multi-day tramp, there is a route suitable for you.

If you'd rather go shopping you're only a stroll away from the local Motueka shops or a short drive to Mapua, Richmond, Stoke or Nelson.

And if you're a golf player, the local 18-hole Motueka Golf Course is just down the road. Very relaxing with its sea and mountain views. There are other golf courses in the region and a driving range also in Motueka, if you want to get some practice in. There's even a mini golf course if you just want to have some fun.
